Shadia Fayne Wood is the Project Survival Media Coordinator and is the New Media Director for Fired Up Media. Shadia has experience managing media teams for events like Power Shift 09, an historic gathering of 12,000 young people on Climate Change, Power Shift 07, and COP 14 in Poznan, Poland in 2008. She worked full time as a leader of the Youth Climate Movement for three years with the Environmental Justice Climate Change Initiative (EJCC) and the Energy Action Coalition (EAC). She has received numerous awards including the Brower Youth Award. Her work with EAC was in the 2007 Green Issue of Vanity Fair and a recipient of Elle Magazine’s 2008 Green Awards.
